Autumn, interchangeably known as Fall, is the season that marks the transition from summer into winter. In our day to day life, the most common things we notice about fall are the falling yellow-brown leaves, the surroundings in the shades of orange, the cool breezy atmosphere - a chill setting in, getting out the warmer clothes, among many others. We also see the pumpkin harvest in the west and the preparations for Halloween.
The calm, cool and subtle atmosphere brings in a feeling of tranquil within, accompanied by the excitement which comes in with the preparation for winter.
If we were to take inspiration from this beautiful season, there is a lot we would look at- the garment silhouettes, fabrics, colors, accessories, prints, etc.
Colours: Shades of orange, beige, brown, red, black, green, yellow, blue, purple. We would go in for warmer colours, like the ones we see around us during autumn and darker,deeper shades of certain colours, example: royal blue, navy blue, bottle green, deep teal, dark violet, etc. We also see subtle colours like rose gold, light pink, blue-grays, etc. We could also use white.

Hats, scarves, scarves, shawls, stockings, socks and knee socks, long necklaces, clutches, sling bags, handbags.

Fabrics:
The most common fabrics of autumn are wool, tweed, cordrouy, leather, fur and jersey. Alongside those, denim, lace, cotton, silk, poplin, transparent (sheer) and other all seasons fabrics are used too.
Prints:
The most common prints of this season are florals and leaves, abstract as well as non abstract. Many interesting patterns are created out of those, each unique from another. Stripes (straight as well as curvy) and checks are used for this season too. Also, a lot of abstract patterns using shapes are frequently seen. Animal and houndtooth prints are occasionally used too.
